Navi Mumbai (IPA:Navī Mumba'ī) is a planned township of Mumbai on the west coast of the Indian state of Maharashtra. It was mooted in 1971 to be a new urban township of Mumbai by the Government Of Maharashtra. For this purpose a new public sector undertaking was established that is CIDCO. Ludhiana is a city and a municipal corporation in Ludhiana district in the Indian state of Punjab, and is the largest city north of New Delhi.
